From 16th until 17th of May 2017 the 1st Young Tribological Researcher Symposium took place at IMKT / Leibniz University Hannover with round about 30 attendees and 10 presentations from different fields of Tribology. Our patron was Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gerhard Poll.
The goal of this symposium was next to the communication of knowledge, also to give Young Tribologists the opportunity in presenting their results for an international auditorium and to expand their own network. Further a joint lunch together with the programme committee took place.
We were happy to distinguishe two of the best presentations with inviting the speakers Maria Crackau (Universitätsklinikum Magdeburg – presentation about “tribological characterization of nature and artificial articular surfaces”) and Florian Rummel (Anton Paar Germany – presentation about “experimental tribological approach to food oral processing) to the next Tribologie Fachtagung which will take place in Göttingen.
